This is the first step in knowing what you are dreaming of! Fill out the contact page and we will get back to you via text or email to schedule a time to get to know you better.

In Person Consultation
A two hour consultation allows time to get to know you, your close ones, and learn more about the home or business you wish to improve upon. This is the first step of your Discovery Meeting. The questions will help to understand your design goals, inspiration and a look into the everyday life a great design will improve upon.

Design Development
After consultation, an assessment of the design scope will be created. The contract will be sent to explain fees and payments. Once signed and the retainer is paid, you will receive a questionnaire that must be completed on order to start the process of creating your one of a kind design. Once we receive your answers the design work begins. A date will be set for the presentation of ideas.

Presentation
The presentation will showcase two design options. Different layouts for space planning will be discussed with you in detail. Design boards will show each designs' cohesive concept. Sketches, samples and any examples to explain the design will be part of the presentation. 3-D Renderings are offered at for an additional fee.

Selection of Goods, Specifications & Contractor Proposals
Once you choose the design you love, we begin the process of selection of finishes and goods for orders. If any adjustments to the design need to be made those will be done prior to ordering. Elevations will be created for the general contractor to build out the plan to spec. There will be a full scheuldule online that is updated in real time for everyone to access, ensuring accuracy of installation. The more information we gather before meeting with the contractor the more concise the estimate will be. Laksmi Interiors works with contractors and tradesmen that are trusted partners.

Design Implementation & Project Management
When the design has been decided and signed off on, the contractor will receive all information to begin demo. Regular on site visits will aid in clear communication for the build out. Contractors will receive full CD's (construction documents) ensuring they have all the information as to what goes where. All the way down to the outlets! Laksmi Interiors will over see every detail, going above and beyond ensuring the build goes as smoothly as possible.

Q: How much time does it take for a project, start to finish?
A: It depends! We will discuss your desired timeline upfront and give you honest feedback as to how long a project like yours can take. Our past projects have ranged from as brief as 2 months to as extensive as 2 years. The key is, personalized design requires time. This process includes deep conversations to understand your story and tastes, followed by revisions to perfect the design. This is an investment for you and your families' everyday life, every aspect matters when creating your one of a kind environment.
Q: How do you work with the contractor and suppliers?
A: One of the biggest aspects of our job is taking the stress out of the design process. There are a lot of questions to be answered. We are your liaison between contractor, tradesmen, and suppliers. We are here to support them, thus supporting you. Anything needed for the design we will take care of along the way.
Q: Can we order our own materials?
A: Yes, of course. Most of the time selections can be ordered online. We highly recommend ordering through the contractor or Laksmi Interiors. This ensures the orders are overseen for delivery receiving, correct items are received, shipping and storage are insured and any possible issues are dealt with by a professional. Large purchases like kitchen cabinets, countertops and appliances will be paid for directly. Most projects require meeting with local vendors to see their extensive showrooms and you will order through them. Other times selections are sold to the trade only, then Laksmi Interiors would procure those directly.
