Complimentary Phone Call
We are excited to speak with you to learn about your design dreams. Once you fill out the contact page we will get back to you via text to schedule a time to get to know you better.

In Person Consultation
In the initial two hour consultation we will begin the questions of your discovery meeting. These questions will help us understand your design goals, inspiration and your homes' health needs to transform your space.

Design Development
After consultation, an assessment of the design scope will be created. We will send a contract explains fees and payments with an estimate of time. Once you sign the contract and pay a retainer we will begin creating your one of a kind design. Design boards will be curated for you. A meeting will be set to present ideas.

Presentation
During the presentation you will be offered two design options, differing styles and different layouts for your space. This will include scaled space planning, sketches, samples of materials and visual design boards.

Selection, Finishes, Renderings, Meeting with Contractors
Once you choose which design you like we will make specific selections and create renderings for you to review. This process is like painting, adding and refining until it is just right. The more information we gather before meeting with the contractor the more concise the bids will be.

Design Implementation & Project Management
When the design has been decided and contractor has been selected project management begins. Regular on site visits will ensure all design decisions are implemented correctly. Contractors will receive full CD's (construction documents) ensuring they have all the information as to what goes where. All the way down to the outlets. When the demo starts, finish selections will be ordered. Our team will over see every detail to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

Q: How much time does it take for a project, start to finish?
A: It depends! We will discuss your desired timeline upfront and give you honest feedback as to how long a project like yours can take. Our past projects have ranged from as brief as 2 months to as extensive as 2 years. The key is, personalized design requires time. This process includes deep conversations to understand your story and tastes, followed by several rounds of revisions to perfect the design. This is an investment for you and your families' everyday life, every aspect matters when creating your one of a kind environment.
Q: How do you work with the contractor and suppliers?
A: One of the biggest aspects of our job is taking the stress out of the design process. There are a lot of questions to be answered. We are your liaison between contractor, tradesmen, and suppliers. We are here to support them, thus supporting you. Anything needed for the design we will take care of along the way.
Q: Can we order our own materials?
A: Yes, of course. Most of the time selections can be made online. Pending the project it will require meeting with local vendors to see their extensive showrooms and order through them. Other times selections are sold to the trade only, then Laksmi Interiors would procure those directly.
