Second Floor

A walk up stairs leads you to an enchanted experience where you'll enter the "king's chambers", two one-of-a-kind- bathrooms, and a fabric canopied room set with the magic of unicorns.

The second floor delights as much as the first. The weathered toile walls house a world of memories. An antique carvey traffic mirror from England circa 1700's reflects the framed image of framed art "The Oracle of Delphi". She is another strong feminine figure watching over every guest. Several parties have hosted an oracle to cast light into the seekers future. Keep exploring, let curiosity take over.

Peeking through

The toile wallpaper is singularly located in the stairwell and was left in tact for two reasons. One we wanted to honor the original design of the house as much as possible. Two, the walls being very old plaster and lath construction we would have run into a major mess. The french influence is unobtrusive and always classic.

There are two arched pass throughs going up the stairwell. It is great fun to look out into the main living room and see what all is going on, especially at parties! During holiday decorating they make the perfect spot for small detailed vignettes.
